Why should I register?

You need to have an account in order for you to be able to have Private messages, Posts, Access to posts comments, etc. We cannot provide most of the features without saving it with your account.

My browser won't keep me logged in, whats wrong?

You most likely have the cookies option of your browser too strict. You need to enable cookies to be able to log in. This can generally be changed in the Privacy tab of the browser Options window. There may be an option to add a specific website to allow cookies from. If you go that route, just type in our domain www.extreme-soldiers.com and try again. If you still cannot stay logged in please clear your browsers cache (cookies, temporary internet files, etc) and check to see if any other programs such as your firewall are interfering.

I forgot my password, what now?

Go to the login page and click the link to get your password. From there it will tell you how to get the password back.

Why does my search return no results?

Your search may have been too vague and included many common terms. Try being more specific or starting your own topic.

How do I edit my profile information and my email/password?

Go to your user control panel and you will be able to modify your email, password, and forum profile. You need to be logged into your account in order to modify the settings.

How do I edit or delete my post?

In each post you make there is a button so you can edit the post. Deleting is not possible in most cases, but would be close to the edit button if you can delete it.

How do I read new posts all at once?

On the forum index there is a link to "view new posts" located under the forum list. This will show new posts since your last visit.

What is a private message (PM)?

A private message, or PM, is basically like posting in a topic, however it is only between you and who it’s being sent to. You have an Inbox, the messages you receive from others, and an outbox, the ones you send to others. These are completely private and admins will only look at them if someone breaches the Terms set on the webstie and further action is deemed neccessary.

What should I do if someone breaches ToC of Use in a PM or anywhere on the website?

Where can I add a signature or avatar?

This can be done in your user control panel. There is a spot for each one. It's recommended that you upload it to the website where possible, or upload it to your personal image hosting account somewhere so you know it will stay up and not turn to a broken image. Photobucket.com does an excellent job at hosting your signature.

What is BBCode??

BBCode is a special implementation of HTML, offering great formatting control on particular objects in a post. The use of BBCode is granted by the administrator, but it can also be disabled on a per post basis from the posting form. BBCode itself is similar in style to HTML, but tags are enclosed in square brackets [ and ] rather than < and >. Why can I do something on this page, but not on another page?

This website uses a permissions system to determine what users can do. For example, you may be able to set up a poll in one area, but not another, or post comments for one news item, but not another. This would generally depend on your user group or in the case of a news item, it may be something that we do not want any comments on.

How do I view private forums?

You need to have access to that section, which goes by what group you are in. If you are a clan member, you'd see the clan member private forums, if you were staff you'd see private forums there too.

Will I ever have to pay in this clan?

There are no required monetary donations. Anything sent to us is considered a donation. If a refund is needed, send a PM to Burn as soon as possible.

What do I get out of making a donation?

We don’t have any guaranteed rewards. At certain times in the past, free sigs have been offered. Your name or gaming alias is entered on our donators page, but other than that it is just the satisfaction of helping our clan.

What do I do if I am banned?

Create a new thread in the server information section of the forum. Please be detailed on why you were banned and why you should be unbanned. You may be asked for your GUID. To get your guid, visit a PunkBuster server and type in /pb_plist in the console. Copy down the code assigned to you.

Where can I get the Content Management System this site uses

 The CMS was custom made and is the property of our clan. We do not have any interest in distributing any copies for your personal use. Our forums are powered by phpBB which can be downloaded from their website.

Can I advertise or become an affiliate on this website?

We do not offer advertisement space To become an affiliate you can create a new topic on the forums about the affiliation. Note: Your organization must be popular within the clan to be considered.
