The Extreme Soldiers is not an "apply-and-your-in" clan. Once you apply, there is a one week to a few week waiting period in which we play with you and meet you to see if you would be a good addition to our clan. Some players who have borderline or just no activity may be sitting in the applicaitons list for a while before being processed as accepted or denied. Requirements to join are:

    1) Forum Activity - We require some activity from you on our website. We hope that you can make a presence for at least 5-10 minutes a week to be able to make a few posts throughout your recruitment and as a clan member if you are accepted. This lets us know you're still here if admins and other members do not see you on the voice server or game servers. 

Remember, required forum activity does not imply daily posting. However, you are more than welcome to post daily if you enjoy it. We know that some players don't care for a lot of forum activity.

During your recruitment period, it's best to post more frequently than a once or twice a week so that we can get to know you better more quickly, especially if you do not join Ventrilo with us.

    2) Server Activity - It is expected you play on our server(s) often. 

    3) Xfire Usage - Using the Xfire client to communicate is required. Ventrilo is optional but recommended. 

    4) Read or skimmed topics in clan rules (Navigation: About -> Clan Rules).

    5) All applicants must be at least 15 years old.

Once you do these, we will play with you in the servers and see what you are like. If we think you would be a good asset to the clan, you will get an invitation to wear tags. If you are not accepted, your application will be closed and you will have to re-apply if you want to try again at another time. We typically accept players in bunches, meaning we might accept 5 people in one day rather than accepting one on Monday, one on Tuesday, and so on. The amount accepted per group varies based on how many good applicants there are. Also, some members may only wait one week, while others may have to wait longer depending on your cumulative activity.

    1) No skill level is required.
    2) You will not be required to donate money.
    3) We do not have a military style ranking system.

Recommended steps to join:

    1) Register on the website
    2) Post an application
    3) Begin to make a presence on the forums
    4) Add other members on Xfire
    5) Play with other members in the server and join us in Ventrilo if you want
    6) Be respectful and do not do anything stupid (eg Spam the forums)

If there is something that you do not feel comfortable providing, but is shown as required, just enter placeholder text and in many cases that will be perfectly fine. For some clarification - We ask for your birthday to make sure you are old enough to join our gaming clan; we ask for your location, which you can be as specific as you want, just to know the general country you are from.
